Laura lives in Washington D.C. and works at TED in New York, where she curates and writes about ideas for TED's youth and education initiative, TED-Ed. Before that, she worked on creative confidence projects with designers at IDEO, edited award-winning investigative reporters at Mother Jones, and trained rural health educators in West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
