About This Role

We are looking for a passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR, you'll play a crucial role in connecting with K12 education leaders, scheduling meetings for our sales reps, and helping schools discover innovative solutions like Alongside. This role is perfect for someone with sales development experience, ideally in EdTech, who is eager to support students and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

What You'll Do

• Qualify Leads: Reach out to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and assess their interest in Alongside.
• Engage Prospects: Use cold calling, emailing, and social media to schedule meetings for our sales team.
• Optimize Processes: Contribute to refining our marketing, SDR, and sales processes based on your interactions with prospective customers.
• Manage CRM: Keep accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce and SalesLoft.

Who You Are

• 1-3 years of experience in sales development, preferably in EdTech.
• Proficient in Salesforce and tools like SalesLoft, HubSpot, and Calendly.
• A team player who values open communication and collaboration.
• Driven by personal growth and continuous improvement.
• Results-oriented and able to balance big-picture thinking with detail-oriented execution.
• Passionate about helping schools find effective solutions and improving student well-being.

Salary

Compensation will be commensurate with other early-stage startup companies and will include salary, commission, and an equity component.
