Strategic Sales Executive in Education - US, West Coast

Wonder Workshop - Remote - Full time

Wonder Workshop is looking for a Strategic Sales Executive to grow partnerships with large school districts and leverage their relationships to promote sales and successful implementation of Wonder Workshop products and solutions within schools. The Strategic Sales Executive defines long-term goals for the growth in his/her assigned districts, builds relationships with educators, schools, districts, government officials and organizations in education. Identify STEM implementation opportunities, facilitate discussions with customers, lead educational industry discussions and conduct keynotes, presentations and workshops. This person will report to the Sr Director of Global Strategic Outreach and will work closely with the Wonder Workshop Education Sales and Marketing Team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and execute strategic relationships and plans to target key districts and states to drive sales of Wonder Workshop products and solutions with high customer satisfaction.
  • Work with all sales channels and resources to drive and ensure success in winning high value district sales opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing and product development staff to help with strategy and program execution for district wide Wonder Workshop market sales.
  • Identify long-term and short-term sales opportunities, focusing on sales activities that produce high growth results in both areas.
  • Develop school presence by creating a high added value working relationships with high level school district leaders and government officials in education.
  • Represent Wonder Workshop in industry specific conferences, tradeshows and events with presentations and keynotes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Masters preferred) and 8+ years’ of experience in Education sales.
  • Track record of developing relationships and closing SAS sales to large school districts in education.
  • Track record of building and selling transformational education programs that include large scale curriculum or technology adoption.
  • Ability to effectively educate stakeholders about the Education industry and knowledge of current market trends in STEM education
  • Have a robust network of current education industry and key district relationships
  • Willingness to travel and work with a distributed team. Position will be home-office based.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude under tight deadlines
  • Ability to facilitate learning for teams of educators and internal Wonder Workshop teams
