ODDIZZI: Pronounced "Odyssey," London-based Oddizzi, a digital geography resource for primary schools, has raised c£310K ($480K) from investors including former-Pearson CEO Marjorie Scardino. The company has earned its keep by charging for products, which are more typically used by schools in Britain and Europe. It was founded by Jenny Cooke, a long-time primary school teacher who also worked with schools in Zambia.
