TRANS-EUROPE EXPRESS: One accelerator begets another. That was certainly the case last year in the U.S., and it looks like the craze is spreading to Europe. Following the footsteps of the Edtech Incubator, Emerge Education, and ed-invent (all based in the UK) comes the latest entrant: the European Incubator for Innovation, which is now accepting applications for a 12-week program that comes with the typical access to mentoring, workshops, classrooms, and up to €20,000 in funding. What's different is that coaching sessions will span across Europe: Aalto University (Helsinki), Iversity (Berlin), ESCP Europe (Paris), are just a few of the stops that will expose entrepreneurs to different markets. Application are due March 17; all the nitty gritty details are here.
