BETTERFLY: One online learning marketplace has gobbled another. TakeLessons, which offers an online marketplace where users can find local classes and live online lessons for music, performing arts and academic subjects, has acquired Chicago-based Betterfly for an undisclosed amount. Betterfly has raised close to $5 million and had roughly 100,000 users. TakeLessons, which has raised $12 million, boasts a user base of over 500,000 students and teachers across 4,000 U.S. cities.
