CLASSBADGES: ClassBadges CEO Esther Wojcicki announced today that ClassBadges has been acquired by EdStart for an undisclosed sum. "We are very happy to be working with EdStart, ExitTicket and Leadership Public Schools to provide tools to improve learning outcomes for all students," Wojcicki said. ClassBadges is a free online tool where teachers can award badges to students for accomplishments or academic mastery, founded in 2011 by Esther Wojcicki, James Sanders and Duncan Winter. Per the terms of the acquisition, Wojcicki will join the board of directors of EdStart.
