WHAT’S IN AN APP: Apparently a lot, as far as Google’s concerned. Building off of its Classroom popularity, Google yesterday launched a native Classroom mobile app for both Android and iOS (also available in Google Play for Education). Now, teachers and students can access Classroom without opening a browser on their mobile phones, and app features include offline caching (allowing for students to work offline) and the ability to attach photos of work to Classroom assignments.
Google has also updated the web-based version of Classroom with a new teacher assignments page, where educators can quickly access any individual assignment, check which ones they’ve already reviewed and see which students have completed homework assignments. Get the full story on Google's blog.
