CODE A LA MODE: Will compsci become the new foreign language requirement? According to recent bills in Washington and Kentucky, that’s looking more and more like the case. It’s not so far-fetched, as Texas and Oklahoma have already passed similar laws. But not everyone is so excited about it--including Code.org, who wrote on a blogpost, "Over time, programming languages will change, but the fundamental concepts of computer science - like logic and problem solving - are universal."
