SIMBULUS: $1 million to Boulder, CO-based Simbulus in a Series A round from the Foundry Group. Founded in March 2013, the startup is the developer of Woot Math, which currently offers an iOS app that helps teach fractions to 4th to 7th grade students. The company has also received funding from the National Science Foundation and won honorable mention in the NYC Department of Education's Gap App Challenge.
