A STEP APART: The American Federation of Teachers will exclusively operate online lesson plan site Share My Lesson. Co-developed by the AFT and TES Global, Share My Lesson has offered free online lesson plans and resources to 775,000 educators since 2012. TES Global plans to launch its own online resource marketplace designed specifically for US teachers in fall 2015; the AFT and TES Global envision the two platforms as “complementary,” and will co-sponsor marketing campaigns and reference each other’s materials, according to a press release.
