Other big winners included $45M in Series D money to Duolingo, which boasts over 100 million users of its language learning content. Boulder-based Sphero also brought in $45M in funding to scale its interactive toy hardware. Rounding out the month’s top deals is another toy hardware startup, LittleBits, which scored $44.2M in Series B funding to expand its product offerings and launch a subscription service.
