CRESCERANCE has raised a Series A round led by BIP Capital, a regional investment firm based in Atlanta, GA (where Crescerance is also based). Specific funding amount was not disclosed. Founded in 2011, Crescerance offers mobile communication tools for education institutions along with an online platform, dubbed “MAD-learn” that encourages students to create their own mobile apps. The company also offers consulting services in areas like marketing and web design, and claims it has developed more than 500 custom apps for educational institutions. More details in the release.
