WORLD TRENDS: We shared our top ten edtech trends not too long ago. But those were mainly focused on the U.S.--only a paltry market when compared to the entire world. Here's the World Bank's own top ten trends for edtech in developing countries. It's a mix of the familiar--tablets, "big (brother?) data"--as well as a few peculiarities like the "the great firewall of...everywhere." We were a little disappointed that this top-ten list stops at nine; the World Bank was apparently non-committal and left the tenth "deliberately blank," citing too many other things going on simultaneously.
