DropTheChalk is the name of the company which has developed Kickboard, a data management tool to help teachers track students' performance. It reportedly raised $750K from angels including the New Orleans Startup Fund and is now growing aggressively, aiming to be in as many as 50 schools this autumn. (See "Jobs" below). Founder, Jennifer Medbery was the only K-12 edtech'er in Inc magazine's "30 under 30," along with the founders of Quora and DropBox.
