Free! DISAPAINTED: Stop motion animation meets MS Paint in this snazzy storytelling tool. The classic palette is still available: lines, circles, squares, paintbrush, pencil, airbrush, and a full color spectrum, but the painting canvas has been thrown out in favor of frames that can be replicated as many times as desired. Users are invited to manipulate the drawn objects' size, shape, color, and movement in each of the frames. Present those frames in sequence and you have an animated effect. The learning curve isn't very steep but creating detailed animations could be a time drain so plan accordingly. DisaPainted might be a good fit for K to 6 grade teachers looking for simple storytelling tools.
