A PRETTY GOOD BET: The docklands at ExCel London are abuzz with frenetic energy as it prepares to host Europe's largest education conference, the BETT Show, from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2. And this time, folks want to see what scrappy edupreneurs around the world have up their sleeves. This year will feature a Startup Pavilion, hosted by EdMix, an up-and-coming community that'll serve as the focal point for edtech in UK and Europe. Good news for startups: they've got some (very) cheap exhibition pods--just £350 per day--on prime real estate right on the main drag and seconds from BETT's main entrance.
