JOLLY GOOD, OLD CHAP: The UK Department for Education has released a set of baseline design specs for building new schools. There are heaps of common sense directives for contractors and their kin. Sadly we didn't see many DIY blueprints for designing these fabulously whimsical school rooms. Still we were especially impressed by the minimum standards for WiFi: a five-year warranty, admin training package, built-in guest access, load balancing and easily scalable. Sounds just like that utopian school you're dreaming of cobbling together during your planning periods, eh?
