MARKET SNAPSHOT: The learning management system market can be a bit muddled, particularly as curriculum platforms and MOOCs increasingly offer LMS-like features. But e-Literate's Phil Hill offers a handy snapshot of the established players in this industry. Using data provided by the Campus Computing Project and Edutechnica, he's compiled a "State of the Anglosphere's Higher Education LMS Market" graph that tracks LMS adoptions in the U.S., U.K. Canada and Australia. "The same players keep growing (primarily Canvas, followed by Moodle and Desire2Learn), and the same players keep shrinking (primarily Blackboard)," Hill writes.
