THE DISTRICT SPEAKS: Big school systems, listen up! Last Thursday, thinktank AEI (American Enterprise Institute) released a blended learning report for Washington DC Public Schools, attempting to answer the question “What does it take to pursue a meaningful digital learning strategy in large, urban districts?” According to the report, the answer includes vetting vendors (the report cites ST Math as a DC fave) and recognizing that different school cultures will lead to varying levels of adoption amongst a district. (Kudos to DCPS’s blended specialist John Rice for sending this our way.)
