SIFTEO: Acquired by Berkeley, CA-based 3D Robotics, a manufacturer of drones for the consumer market. Financial details were not disclosed. Founded in 2009, Sifteo has raised $16.5 million to create interactive touchscreen cubes that can be used for a variety of gaming and educational purposes. In a farewell letter, Sifteo's executive team says the team will join 3D Robotics and continue to support Sifteo customers through August 2015. More details in the press release.
