CRIBSPOT: $660K to Detroit, MI-based Cribspot in a seed round led by Huron River Ventures, with First Step Fund also participating. The startup, founded by three University of Michigan students in 2013, helps college students find off-campus housing. Crain's Detroit Business reports the service has so far been used by 56,000 renters near six universities in the Midwest.
