GUOKR: $20 million to Beijing-based Guokr in a Series C round led by TAL Education Group, an after-school tutoring service provider which invested $15 million; IDG and others also partook, according to Tech in Asia. (TAL was also a lead investor in The Minerva Project's $70 million Series B round.) Founded in 2010, Guokr offers an online science and tech community and claims 800,000 users on its MOOC platform. It's also one of Coursera's partners and translates some Coursera courses into Chinese. More details in the release.
