OPENLEARNING: $AU 2.1 million (approximately $1.3 US million) to Sydney, Australia-based OpenLearning in a round led by Clive Mayhew, who started Netscape in Asia. ICS Global and Hideaki Fukutake, director of Benesse Holdings, also participated. OpenLearning serves as the official MOOC platform for higher education in Malaysia, and has provided MOOCs to around 125,000 students since 2011, according to ZDNet.
