READ ON: Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster join a growing list of publishers partnering to offer their books on the Curriculet platform, including HarperCollins, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Oxford University Press. The Curriculet platform allows educators to access and rent over 30,000 books by student, and provides “curriculets,” or layers of video, context, and notes, for many of its offerings. As of March 19, thousands of Penguin Random House books are now available on the Curriculet platform, with Curriculet layers attached to over 400 of the texts, according to a press release. Simon & Schuster texts will be made available next week.
