IGNITING CURIOSITY: There’s always news about the STEM gap--maybe it’s time to do something about it. Cue the nonprofit NewSchools Venture Fund, which has just launched its Science Learning Challenge. Open to entrepreneurs building technologies that support student development of science and engineering skills, challenge winners will receive up to $150K in grants, access to NewSchools’ virtual accelerator, product feedback and guidance, a research partnership with WestEd to design and execute a small-scale study on product usability, and more. For all details, check out NSVF's Science Learning Challenge page.
