NIVEL SIETE: Blackboard may soon be acquired for upwards of $3 billion, but that isn’t stopping the company from going shopping. The Washington, DC-based company has acquired Nivel Siete, a Colombian company that offers learning software support and services for over 200 clients in Latin America that use Moodle, the open-source learning management platform. Teams of the deal, Blackboard’s eleventh since 2014, were not disclosed in the release.
