BLOWING TOWARDS THE MIDWEST: It was just back in mid-September when the microschool system AltSchool formally announced that it had opened doors to new schools in Brooklyn and Palo Alto. But CEO Max Ventilla isn't slowing down anytime soon. On September 24, he made his way to the Lincoln park neighborhood of Chicago, IL to present a new school proposal to about 100 Lincoln Park residents. When residents expressed predominant concern over an increase in traffic based on AltSchool students' various morning start times, Ventilla responded, "We’re going to try to address the most significant issues that people have. Ultimately, I think it’s a solvable problem."
