BRIDGEU has raised a $2.5 million seed round to build its platform that helps students manage university applications and university administrators manage student performance data. Octopus Investments led the round; Fresco Capital and Seedcamp also participated.
BridgeU provides, as founder Lucy Stonehill calls it, "Guidance as a service," riffing on the popular phrase "software as a service," to describe its system for helping guide students' and administrators' decisions using data. The London-based company expects to reach 15,000 students by the end of the year, according to TechCrunch.
