NO WANDERING EYES: ProctorFree, an automated service that uses biometric and machine learning technologies to eliminate the need for human oversight in online exams, closed a round of seed-stage financing. Real Ventures led the round, which also included participation by Task Force X Capital and individual investors. The Huntersville, N.C.-based company has not disclosed the amount of funding it received but says it will use the money to enhance its technology and add key new hires this year.
