TINYTAP, an Israeli startup that helps parents and teachers create educational games and other interactive apps, has raised $1.5 million from Animoca (based in Hong Kong), Inimiti VC (Tel Aviv) and New York Angels. Founded in 2012, the startup claims more than 100,000 titles have been created by teachers.
The funding will support an online marketplace through which teachers can earn money from games that they’ve created on the TinyTap platform. The company recently released a new feature that allows teachers to create games that allow students to answer questions by speaking.
