APPTEGY, a Little Rock, Ark.-based company that help schools manage communications across their website, social media and mobile channels, has raised $5.7 million in venture funding from Five Elms Capital. Founded in 2015, Apptegy builds websites and mobile apps for each school, and offers a content management system that lets administrators create and distribute content and other updates. The company claims users in “hundreds of schools districts in 38 states,” according to the press release.
