NETDRAGON, a Chinese gaming company that has its eyes set on the education industry, has acquired JumpStart, the Los Angeles-based developer of classic learning games including Math Blaster. (Other non-educational titles include Neopets and School of Dragons.) Terms of the deal were not disclosed. NetDragon, which also operates an app store and massive multiplayer online games, acquired another former big-name educational brand, Promethean, a provider of interactive smartboards, in 2015 for $130 million.
