KICKUP, a Philadelphia-based developer of tools to support teacher development, has raised $730,000 from Red House Education and Reach Capital, reports Technical.ly Philly. The funding adds to the $1.5 million that the startup raised in May 2015. According to its website, the company combines data from different staff support teams to “synthesize feedback, take action to support teachers, and report on impact over time.” One of the new products in the works will allow districts to create PD events for teachers and measure their impact on instructional practices.
