THOUGHTFUL ACQUISITION: Coding bootcamp Thinkful has acquired the online Viking Code School and The Odin Project, an open online platform for programming curriculum. The deal, which is Thinkful’s first acquisition, was closed in November and financial details were not disclosed.
According to an announcement by Thinkful, current Viking students are able to continue their program while prospective students considering Viking will be directed to Thinkful’s Full Stack Flex, Engineering Immersion and Data Science programs. Founded in 2012, Thinkful claims it reached profitability in 2016.
