CHATBOTS N’ COLLEGE APPS: ConnecPath, a company that wants to help students find answers to questions about college applications and potential career paths, has closed a pre-seed round of $150k from four angel investors. This is their first round of fundraising, the company’s CEO told EdSurge.
The Silicon Valley-based startup claims to use artificial intelligence technology to let students “pose their questions to a chatbot and get answers within seconds.”
According to a press release, the money will go towards product development, marketing and sales activities.
