ELLEVATION, an English language-learning software company, has raised more than $10 million in a Series B funding round led by Reach Capital. Other investors who participated in the round include the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Omidyar Network and Emerson Collective.
According to a press release, Ellevation will use the money to invest “in additional product development focused on instruction and differentiation.” Ellevation lets educators view data about students, such as their level of English proficiency. It also has compliance features, including the ability to automatically generate Title III required letters for parents in 34 different languages. The Boston-based company claims that nearly 600 school districts use the platform.
