WATERMARK, a provider of data and assessment services for higher-ed institutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from TCV that will give the investor a controlling stake in the company. Other investors include Quad Partners and Exceed Capital Partners. As part of the deal, TCV’s general partner and principal, Jake Reynolds and Nari Ansari, respectively will be joining Watermark’s board of directors.
Watermark is made up of what was formerly three distinct services: Tk20, Taskstream and Livetext. They merged in 2017 and rebranded as Watermark, which today claims to serve more than 1,100 higher-ed institutions. More details in the press release.
