3DBEAR, a Finnish developer behind an educational app that lets teachers and students create 3D models and augmented reality experiences, has closed a total of $1.5 million in a seed round from LearnStart, a seed fund launched in partnership with Learn Capital. Other investors include Rethink Education.
Founded in 2016, 3DBear offers a smartphone and tablet app that aims to introducer learners to 3D modeling, printing and robotics. The company has raised more than $2.8 million overall, according to Nordic9.
