CHALK IT UP: Campus Labs, a Buffalo, N.Y.-based company that specializes in data collection and visualization software for higher education institutions, has acquired Chalk & Wire, a company founded in 1995 that provides higher-ed assessment, digital portfolios and credentialing tools.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the press release, the transaction will allow Campus Labs to “provide enhanced and integrated ways to assess student learning.” With the acquisition of Chalk & Wire, Campus Labs claims it now serves more than 1,400 colleges and universities.
