AULA ABOARD: Aula, a startup that seeks to replace emails and learning management systems at higher education institutions with a communication platform akin to Slack, has raised $4.2 million in a seed funding round, according to a press release.
The round was led by Project A, Brighteye Ventures and Sunstone. Existing investors, such as Nordic Makers, also took part. The press release states that the U.K.-based company will use the money to “invest in building the case for a ‘digital campus’ with existing partner institutions, to find new partner institutions, and to make it easier to build integrations with the Aula platform.”
