MAKE IT A DOZEN: Frontline Education continues to assemble pieces for its K-12 back-end administrative software suite. The Malvern, Penn.-based company has agreed to acquire Prologic Technology Systems, a payroll and benefits platform. Terms of the pending deal were not disclosed in the press release.
Founded in 1992, Prologic claims its tools currently serves more than 730,000 K-12 students, most of them in Texas.
If the deal closes, this acquisition would mark the 12th in Frontline Education’s history. The company, which is owned by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, has purchased a slew of tools ranging from professional-development services to teacher recruitment platforms in recent years.
