CROSS THIS: Intersective, a Australian startup behind an educational platform designed to support experiential learning programs, has raised $3.75 million in a Series A round led by Main Sequence Ventures.
Founded in 2010, Intersective is used by companies and universities to connect students with mentors, internships and other programs designed to prepare them for work. Its platform, called “Practera,” allows educators at institutions and companies to design online training programs. Institutional clients include the likes of University of Sydney, Boston University, EY and Deloitte.
Based in Sydney, the company recently opened up an office in Boston (where it is working out of the offices of LearnLaunch, an education technology accelerator). More details about the deal from SmartCompany.
