RECRUITING A RECRUITER: EducationDynamics, which helps higher-ed institutions with marketing, recruiting and enrolling prospective students, has acquired JMH Consulting, an Atlanta-based company that offers similar services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2005, EducationDynamics claims to have worked with more than 900 higher-ed institutions, according to a press release about the deal.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, student enrollment in universities declined in fall 2017—marking the sixth straight year that there’s been a dip. (By contrast, notes The Hechinger Report, there were 2.6 million more students enrolled in fall of 2011.)
