MOVING UP: Move This World, a Manhattan-based startup that makes social emotional learning programs for school districts, has raised $1 million in a seed round, according to Technical.ly/Brooklyn.
Investors include AT&T, The Global Good Fund, Prairie Capital and New Media Investment Group, notes Crunchbase. The startup is also part of the AT&T Aspire Accelerator, which provides funding and mentorship support to education technology startups.
Move This World began as a nonprofit in 2010 before become a for-profit operation in 2016. According to the article, the company claims its curriculum has reached half a million students across 20 states.
