QUIZ TIME: NUADU, a Poland-based provider of an adaptive-learning tool that lets teachers assign homework questions, practice problems and quizzes to students, has raised $1.2 million in a seed round from Luma Ventures.
Launched in 2016, the company, which also has offices in Singapore, claims its app offers a “data-driven personalized environment” that creates an “adaptive learning path” that adjusts what content students get based on their performance, according to the press release. The tool also includes a marketplace of content aligned to published curricula where users can purchase additional problem sets and practice materials.
The company claims the tool has been used by 80,000 elementary- and middle-school students and 2,000 teachers in Poland, along with 45,000 paid users across the world.
