LAMBDA SCHOOL, a 30-week online software and coding school, has raised $14 million in a Series A round led by GV. Stripe also participated in the round, which brings the company’s total amount raised to $18.1 million, according to crunchbase.
San Francisco, Calif.-based Lambda School plans to use the funds to add new course offerings, which currently include computer and data science programs, iOS development, android development, and UX design. Funds will also be used to continue growing the school, which claims to have 700 students enrolled, according to an announcement from the company.
Like an increasing number of coding bootcamps these days, Lambda School offers income-share agreements, or the option to defer tuition payments until after students complete the program and land a job.
