Wiley to Acquire Learning House for $200 Million

Oct 9, 2018

Publishing company John Wiley & Sons will acquire Learning House from Weld North Holdings for $200 million, according to a press release.

Based in Louisville, Ky., Learning House offers several services, including an online program management business and The Software Guild, a coding bootcamp. President and CEO of Wiley Brian Napack was quoted in the press release as saying the acquisition will let the company “partner even more broadly with institutions and employers.”

The company will now have about $200 million in “combined annual revenue,” with more than 60 university partners and more than 800 online graduate and undergraduate degree programs, the press release notes.
