EDUCATIVE, a Seattle-based online learning tool for software developers, has raised $2.3 million in a seed funding round from SK Ventures, Trilogy Equity Partners and other angel investors.
Launched in March 2016, Educative offers courses on topics ranging from JavaScript to Amazon Web Services to how to interview for coding positions. Programmers are also able to create their own courses on the company’s website. Courses on Educative cost anywhere from free to nearly $80.
Educative claims more than 23,000 courses have been purchased in the last two-and-a-half years and plans to use the funds from its latest raise to further grow its platform and audience.
