CATAPULT LEARNING, a provider of special education and instructional solutions, is acquiring LifeShare USA, which offers private special education services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The announcement marks the company’s third acquisition in three months. It acquired the Capital Education Group in November and the Leeway School for Educational Therapy in September.
Founded in 1976, Catapult Learning offers its special education programs in more than 60 locations nationwide. The programs are designed for students who have special learning needs, such as autism disorder, and for those with behavior and emotional challenges. LifeShare USA offers services in New England, the southeastern U.S., Colorado and Arizona. With the acquisition, Catapult Learning hopes to expand its reach in the latter two states, which are among the company’s fastest growing regions.
